Item Description
Vintage mid 20th century beaded Namji figure sculpture. Made by the Namji tribe, Cameroon, they are traditionally used as good luck charms and as a symbol of fertility. Carved from solid wood and decorated with applied metal work, cowrie shells, glass beads and string. Good vintage condition with normal cosmetic signs of age and use. The sculpture is freestanding but there is some wobble to the base.
