BATH DECORATIVE FAIR Q&A WITH FRANKLIN & HARE

Gail McLeod representing the Bath Decorative Fair caught up with HV dealer Franklin & Hare, who are going to be exhibiting at the Fair this week.

Q:   Are you making a debut in March 2022 or a returning exhibitor?

We look forward to returning to Bath after a successful Fair in October 2021.

Q:   What 3 reasons drew you to exhibit at Bath?

We felt it would be a great opportunity to meet new faces, build up new clientele and for people to meet the faces behind Franklin and Hare. It’s also fun to catch up with other traders.

Q:   How important do you think real life fairs are to the industry?

As convenient as online shopping is, a fair offers you an experience, to be able to be in a room filled with antiques and curiosities is always fun!

Q:   How have the past 2 years changed the way you do business?

Things have changed massively for us as a business over the last two years. We made the decision in 2020 that I, Hannah would join Rich full time. We have recently left our shop and relocated to a bigger warehouse premises enabling us to expand, focus more online, and stand at Bath Fair.

Q:   Describe one piece you are saving to show at the fair

We have an interesting set of Gargoyles from a French Chateaux.
