Wonderful, high quality, Belgian rattan and bamboo etagere or storage shelving, dating c. 1970
This is a very robust (heavy!) piece of furniture that looks as good from the back as it does from the front, and as such would also work very well as a room divider with a lot of storage space. It would also look great as a console in a hall etc.
Its bigger than the photo suggests so please check dimensions.
Made from wood and bamboo, with the top and sides in rattan, its a richer, warmer colour than the photos suggest and would work with a variety of interior styles.
The corners have leather tie strips, with a very small loss in the very bottom right corner. This doesn't detract.
A very stylish but practical piece of furniture thats in a very good vintage condition.

20th Century Filth is run by Sandra Carter who left a career in advertising and life in London for the seafront in St Leonards on Sea; an area already known for it’s antiques and vintage shops.

Having renovated a few properties which fuelled her interest (read: obsession) with all forms of mid-century design, she’s gone from being tasked with hunting down specific items for family, friends and Clients to focusing full time on sourcing beautiful pieces from France, Italy, Germany and the UK.

She offers a variety of antiques and design from late 18th century to the 1980s, but with a specialist interest in mid century lighting.
