Lovely quality French double tiered coffee table. Dating c. 1970 and attributed to either Eric Maville or Pierre Vandel. The bottom tier has had the glass replaced in a thick warm-tinted mirrored glass. The top tier has the original smoked 8mm glass. It does have light scratches as you would expect with a table of this age, although I would be happy to replace this at trade price. The fact that it’s tinted makes imperfections much less obvious.

The actual table is showing signs of wear - please see photos - and this is reflected in the price. Regardless, is still a stunning and high quality piece.

20th Century Filth is run by Sandra Carter who left a career in advertising and life in London for the seafront in St Leonards on Sea; an area already known for it’s antiques and vintage shops.

Having renovated a few properties which fuelled her interest (read: obsession) with all forms of mid-century design, she’s gone from being tasked with hunting down specific items for family, friends and Clients to focusing full time on sourcing beautiful pieces from France, Italy, Germany and the UK.

She offers a variety of antiques and design from late 18th century to the 1980s, but with a specialist interest in mid century lighting.
