Large Art Deco Floor Lamp

20TH CENTURY FILTH
A rather spectacular Art Deco Mirrored Glass Floor Lamp.
It's big! Originally would have been in either a hotel or a grand house.
The main column has 3 sides that are lit with differing sprays of flowers (there is close up photo of one).
Foxing throughout the lamp as you would expect.
I think the raw silk lampshade is original, but can't be certain. Its in good overall condition considering its age with no rips or tears to the silk. Ive also added a close up photo of the shade to show a true reflection of the colour.
The base measures 43 cms square, the column 11.5cms sq.
Ive added a close up pic of some damage to the glass - its not visible as it sits at the back of the lamp. The glass has cracked a little on the underside but is smooth to the touch and won't fall off etc.
One of the tiny glass finials is missing but this is hard to spot and doesn't detract.
Ive reflected the imperfections in the price.
This has been at my house and works absolutely fine. It has been rewired at some point with braid, however as with all vintage lighting if you have any concerns please have it checked by a qualified electrician.
Ps. trying to take photos of it lit is a bit like take photos directly into the sun - it doesn't really work very well, but please see a close up of the spray of flowers to give you an idea.

20th Century Filth is run by Sandra Carter who left a career in advertising and life in London for the seafront in St Leonards on Sea; an area already known for it’s antiques and vintage shops.

Having renovated a few properties which fuelled her interest (read: obsession) with all forms of mid-century design, she’s gone from being tasked with hunting down specific items for family, friends and Clients to focusing full time on sourcing beautiful pieces from France, Italy, Germany and the UK.

She offers a variety of antiques and design from late 18th century to the 1980s, but with a specialist interest in mid century lighting.
