Oh my goodness, these are stupendous! I couldn't wait to dye them and I'm thrilled with the results. They are a set of eight huge late 19th century napkins which would be gorgeous to use at a dinner table, they're the height of luxury, but they'd also make fab cloakroom towels, small tablecloths or large tray cloths.

Excellent quality fine French pure linen damask with a great sheen. I have hand dyed these a rich clementine orange colour which really shows them off beautifully. (A couple of the photos are a softer, redder shade - it's the rich orange that is the correct colour.)

Hand embroidered with tiny monograms of the letters PL set in one corner. Simple hand stitched hems. UK postage £8.

In excellent condition with no wear or damage and no marks, they're beautiful. Freshly laundered and ready to grace your table.
