A rare and fabulous find - an unused French hemp sheet. Early 1900s, now soaked, laundered and ready for use. Entirely hand stitched with a charming red cross stitch monogram of the letters CM set to the side of the centre seam.

No damage or wear, of course, and no marks. The colour is still very slightly patchy and there are still a few creases. All this will even out in the next couple of washes as the fabric properly wears in. Believe me, it was the colour and texture of cardboard when I started down this journey. It is now soft and smooth and will become better and better as it is used. Please add £10 for UK postage.
