French linen metis sheet - a good curtain

This is a nice, good quality piece with its hand wrapped ladderwork hem which returns along the side of the sheet. A nice weight with interest to the weave and little slubs running through the fabric. It has been used just a little and is in excellent condition with no thinning, damage or wear. Good fabric that will be a comfortable sheet on your bed or is great fabric for curtains/blinds, a bed cover or tablecloth. A medium weight but tightly woven and strong so suitable for a sofa throw, loose covers, uphostery etc. Colour is a soft milky white.

Metis is a linen union, with linen weft and cotton warp it has been prized for generations in France for its quality and longevity. Well stored with just a few small storage marks in the body of the sheet and on the edge of the return. These will continue to fade away with laundering.
