Huge unused French linen sheet - curtains

This is an attractive unused vintage piece; really good fabric which is cool to the touch with a nice lineny feel - this could easily be mistaken for pure linen. Totally plain with simple hand stitched hems.

Smooth French linen metis, laundered only a couple of times. A good weight to use as a sheet, it'll make comfortable bedding but really this is going to be great for a curtain or blind or for upholstery, loose covers or a tablecloth etc. It's incredibly long - loads of great fabric for projects. UK postage is £5.

Metis is a linen union, generally a linen weft and cotton warp, it has been prized for generations in France for its quality and longevity. This sheet is a very attractive pale creamy oatmeal colour. No damage, no wear. It is a bit crisp at the moment as it has come from a laundry, a normal wash will deal with this. Perhaps a couple of tiny marks.

Approximate weight: 1890 grams
