Smooth, weighty French pure linen sheet

This is gorgeous fabric - a lovely weighty French pure linen sheet in that gorgeous pale grey-white/putty colour with hand wrapped ladderwork return hem. The sheet is late 1800s and has the tradional centre seam, joining two narrow lengths of fabric to create the double sheet. At the base there is a beautifully worked laundry monogram of the letters MN worked in red cross stitch. UK postage £5.

The fabric has excellent weight and drape, it is a medium weight which would fall beautifully at a window and it has some nice character to the weave. It is narrower than most making it a great size for a curtain - hang just as it is using cafe clips and your window will be dressed to perfection in a matter of minutes. And a great sheet too, of course, wonderfully comfortable to sleep under and suitable for a smaller double bed. Also a great tablecloth, sofa throw or bed cover.

This sheet has been used but has no damage, thinning or wear. No real marks to mention, it's ready for use.

Approx net weight: 1800 grams

  • H: 272cm (107.09in)
