Unused French linen metis sheet - sturdy fabric

This is an unused "fleur bleue" branded linen metis sheet that has hardly been unfolded since the day it was made. UK postage £5.

Strong, sturdy fabric but not too thick and with some give and drape to it. It will make comfortable bedding once it has been soaked and laundered to soften the fibres. And it will be great for interiors projects; upholstery, loose covers, curtains etc. Colour is a pale creamy beige which will lighten a little as it is laundered.

This is the very popular linen metis which is a linen weft and cotton warp. It has been favoured by French housewives for years and would have been expensive when new.

This sheet has never been laundered. In excellent condition with no damage. As you can see, there are the inevitable storage marks which are mostly on the front and along the fold lines. These will fade out during the soaking and laundering process and the sheet is priced accordingly.

Approximate weight: 1550 grams
