Unused XL French linen sheet; good bedding fabric

AMANDA LEADER
Hurrah, an extra wide sheet, suitable for use on a kingsize bed. This is an unused quality French linen metis sheet that has never even been laundered. Machine stitched ladder hem and large hand stitched monogram of the letters AMB (ABM?).

Strong, sturdy fabric but not too thick and with some give and drape to it. It will make comfortable bedding once it has been soaked and laundered to soften the fibres. And it will be great for interiors projects; upholstery, loose covers, curtains etc. Colour is a mid cream which will lighten as it is laundered.

This is the very popular linen metis which is a linen weft and cotton warp. It has been favoured by French housewives for years and would have been expensive when new.

This sheet has never been laundered. It is in excellent condition with no damage and has been very well stored with minimal marks; just some light storage dots which will fade away as the sheet is soaked and laundered before use.
