Unused XL French vintage linen sheet, nice fabric

This is an attractive unused vintage piece; really good fabric which is cool to the touch with a nice lineny feel - this could be mistaken for pure linen. UK postage £5.

Smooth French linen metis, laundered only a couple of times. A good weight to use as a sheet, it'll make comfortable bedding and its really big. But this fabric is always great for a curtain or blind or for upholstery, loose covers or a tablecloth etc.

Metis is a linen union, generally a linen weft and cotton warp, it has been prized for generations in France for its quality and longevity. This sheet is a very attractive pale creamy oatmeal colour. No damage, no wear. It has been professionally laundered (albeit some years ago) so is beautifully smooth. No marks to speak of. It is a little lighter on the front fold line but this will even up as the sheet lightens a little as it is laundered. It is barely noticeable but I like to mention these things.

Approximate weight: 1750 grams
