1930s Student`s "Colour & Design" Work

A piece of student art work from the early 1930s entitled "Colour & Design." Mounted on card this formed part of the end of course show of an architecture student called Kenneth Pitchforth from the Leeds College of Art School of Architecture. This was found in his attic, with many other pieces of work, several years ago. It would frame very well, there is a small tear top left and some surface dirt.
Image size 75cm by 53cm.

ANDREW FROSTE has been dealing all his life.  It has taken him from windswept Park Hall in Lancashire in the 1980s to 'maison bourgeoise' clearances in the Auvergne, via an Art Deco shop in Brighton.  He has an eye for stunning decorative items that often reflect his quirky, fun sense of humour.

Having a degree in the History of Art & Design clearly influences his buying ethos and his 'eye' for style, design and proportion.

Andrew now mostly sells to a few clients he has known for many years, rather than face the hurley burley of antique fairs.  He also has a space in Hemswell Antiques Centre, where he sells more traditional antiques and items for the garden.
