A pearlware jug decorated with black, bat prints and silver lustre line borders. This has the same prints to either side, depicting figures in a landscape, in front of a large house. There is a shepherd, sitting against a bush, playing a pipe to his sheep.

Condition: There is a small chip to the foot which is the result of a kiln stilt being removed. There is a further, small chip to the rim and there is slight rubbing to the lustre on the rim. There is also slight staining, mostly to the upper section of the jug. All of this can be seen in the images.
