An unusual rubber seated operating stool. This well engineered chair has been designed for both comfort and heavy duty practicality, it does not have a back support. Possibly used in a hospital theatre, dentist or even a designer/maker workshop has many uses whether it is for bar, kitchen, workshop, or interior design prop. It is made by Sterling. It has the name Pagusa embossed on the rubber Lambretta looking seat, with an interesting deco styled logo. Surface scratches and old rust under seat. In good general order.

I am an artist, sculptor, collector and restorer.  I have always been inspired and influenced by my love of the old. Since collecting tins, postcards, early textiles and gadgets as a teenager I have surrounded myself with “stuff”. I started trading in the 1970s from my architectural effects shop Leaded Lights and design shop Gothic in Greenwich. My stock reflects my enjoyment of the antique and the peculiar, from early Medieval to Victorian to Art Deco and industrial design.

I endeavour to hunt out the unusual - richly patinated wood, faded sun-drenched   paintwork and gently burnished ironwork.

We are based in a Victorian Gothic building in Somerset, only 15 minutes from the M5.
