Brief Description:
A beautiful original 1901 Edwardian Watercolour Painting depicting a small herd of Scottish Highland Cattle grazing on the brow of a hill within an expansive snow-capped highland landscape setting.
Signed and dated by primitive artist 'G Underwood, 1901'
This piece was a pleasure to photograph as it really makes one smile!
The wonderful characterful faces of the cattle, together with the loan figure who can be seen walking towards them with a type of Ready break glow surrounding them is really something to behold.
Equally impressive is the outstanding quality period gilt & glazed frame which is both moulded and it is embellished with a decorative raised foliate gilt border.
