This is the last of the carved humpback whales by Sussex artist Martin Scorey.

They are carved from 100-year-old wood from the old dry docks of Portsmouth Harbour.
Scorch burnt and painted these whales are beautiful.
Sadly, Martin cannot get any more of the reclaimed Portsmouth wood.
It looks as though these will be the last of these lovely whales..

It stands on a wooden base measuring
38 inches long
4 inches in depth
8 inches wide.

Brenda and Nass are a husband and wife team, working in the beautiful town of Arundel, West Sussex where they have had an established and well visited shop for many years. The quirky warehouse building that houses their large collection was once part of the 19th century Swallow Brewery and is now a backdrop for an interesting and diverse assortment of decorative antiques.

The showroom is open 7 days a week, 11am to 4pm daily, other times for overseas clients or trade by appointment. After 18 years in the trade, we have built up a good network of carriers, so please ask for a quote for your delivery.

Arundel is a busy and very old town in West Sussex, with other dealers to see and many types of shops to visit, along with the wonderul and large Arundel Castle.  There is parking outside of Arundel Eccentrics own premises as well as a large pay and display car park in the town itself.
