1970, Russian Portrait,'Girl in a Checked Dress'

BARNSTAR
A fabulous, 1970's portrait of a girl with long bunches and a monochrome blouse with a Peter Pan collar by Russian artist A.P. Solodovnikov (1928 - 2017). The soft light is such a joy as it falls across her face and coral lips. The thick, blocked brush strokes of her blouse are cubist in form. Sigh.
