Item Details

A handsome looking beast, boasting all of its original brass fittings in situ and reassuringly unpolished and nicely muted. I am sure you could attack with Brasso if you want shiny, shiny!

Presented in a relatively dark tone of oak, this one has been fortunately spared the sander or stripper session, so its sitting in good original order, which we prefer, when compared to most of its era.

It’s a simple set up of four large oak fronted drawers and a frame which is modest and workman like. The drawers are running fine bearing in mind its touching 100 years old, so do not expect today’s velocity and smoothness. The frame is glowing well after a light waxing with the panelled sides being a nice touch. The back does have a few scratches but not that you see them when the cabinet is placed. As mentioned, the large grab handles are in place as are the label holders.
A great piece of vintage office furniture.
