Decorative Victorian Oak Console Hall Table C1880
Presented in a rather splendid condition, this decorative Victorian oak carved console side table would of course look wonderful in a period hallway but not out of place below a window or sitting in a living room.
It survives in good order – a nice moderate build-up of wear and history to all parts and fortunately it has survived any major repolishing or inappropriate makeovers. The dense twisted oak front legs support a well carved moulding which works well with the low carved plinth at the back. Overall sitting in fine historic order. We have lightly dusted the table and have refrained from over polishing, giving it that lived in look.
A rather good looking smaller piece of Victorian oak furniture ready to place.
