Victorian 3 Tier Dumb Waiter C1880 – Nice Original Piece

Surviving in great untouched or messed around with condition – showing wonderful aging and usage marks all round also of sensible proportions.
We love the condition and look on this dumb waiter. It’s a little bit fancy without being over the top, so would work in a variety of spaces... The piece benefits from not having been stripped or repolished, so you get some lovely patination and usage marking to the frame. The colour is still good – not faded and it sits on four hidden brass castors sitting under the large feet.

Apart from day to day wear the dumb waiter is in good order with a piece of the gallery missing to one side – not an eyesore and an old loss rather than fresh. We have blown away the cobwebs and ensured it’s ready for use - expect aging.

A great looking piece of useful Victorian Furniture from around 1880

Dimensions - Overall: Height 95cm with Top Surface 91cm x Width 112.5cm x Depth 51cm

Billy Hunt is an independent partnership based in a wonderful Victorian Farming Buiding once used to stable Dray Horses for Bass Brewery and with the assistance of technology, enjoys serving customers nationally and internationally. The collaboration of successful Interior Designer Martina Reitbauer and Ardent Gatherer Wayne Lawless brings to you an exciting and ever evolving selection of items for your home which do not have the constraints of a particular era, no onus on any particular style or a brand agenda to respect.

We choose to source across the UK believing that the British Isles offers a splendid mix of fine quality, true eccentricity, creative design and exceptional craftsmanship which very few can equal.

We take pleasure in gathering pieces from country houses, time-worn factories and auctions travelling extensively to seek out the appealing. You will notice when viewing our collection, we are not afraid to evolve furniture, recognise the need to modernise but are also content to leave “as found” aiming to create a piece or pieces that are beautiful, distinctive and a delight to live with.

Our wish is to show you some wonderful items that you would love to own and offer a service which is personal, professional, considerate and a pleasurable experience. You are able to view our stock in person by appointment, just contact us to arrange a convenient time here.
