Good Looking 1940s Vintage Oak Glazed Bookcase
Lovely quality and proportions on this British 1940s oak two door sliding bookcase with 2 interior adjustable shelves – so plenty of options for storage...
This one is particularly good with excellent tone and grain to the oak and with that attractive fluted base and beading to the front edges. Its size means it's perfect to plonk a television on or use in a hallway.
Workshop report –This one is in good order. The glass doors are crack and chip free and running freely. The oak is glowing well, very few marks and we have lightly waxed the piece inside and out to ensure it's ready to place and use. Expect a well-cared for piece.
A good looking piece of Mid Century British oak furniture in fine order.
