A very nicely painted 19th Century French oil painting on thick wooden panel of a gun dog at work, framed in a period gilt frame (not sure whether it’s the original)
Indistinctly signed bottom left hand side, and dated?
In lovely condition, albeit with a hairline crack running across the panel, see photos.
The gilt frame is excellent condition.

We specialise in French decorative antiques, distressed painted antique furniture, unusual vintage objects for the home as well as for the garden space, a small mix of vintage industrial, and some artwork we feel complements the ‘look’.

Branching Out was first launched 16 years ago from a small corner shop in Harbour Street in the fashionable seaside town of Whitstable, Kent. Within the first year Branching Out moved to larger premises in Tankerton High Street, just a pebbles throw away, due to its instant success amongst local home owners, town visitors and the interior design trade.
