A late Victorian /early 20th Century stained pine advertising stationary rack for the local shops of Bournemouth made by Warne Pugsley & Warne, advertising contractors, Bristol.
The rack would have contained leaflets with info on the various shops and would have been displayed at the train station, hotels or the town hall.
A great piece of social history.
It includes a dealer in genuine antiques Mr Arthur Johnson, a footwear specialist, an optician, a gallery specialising in portraiture etc…
Apart from a light clean and polish the rack is in great original condition.

We specialise in French decorative antiques, distressed painted antique furniture, unusual vintage objects for the home as well as for the garden space, a small mix of vintage industrial, and some artwork we feel complements the ‘look’.

Branching Out was first launched 16 years ago from a small corner shop in Harbour Street in the fashionable seaside town of Whitstable, Kent. Within the first year Branching Out moved to larger premises in Tankerton High Street, just a pebbles throw away, due to its instant success amongst local home owners, town visitors and the interior design trade.
