Old clock hands are hard to come by these days. This is a pair from a French turret clock dating from the 19th Century. They are guilded with painted counter weights on each hand. Since they were literally hand made, they are very attractive as wall decoration and we have fitted them with a hanger so that they can easily be wall mounted and set to a time you like, but they are obviously not working as a clock anymore.

Roger Lascelles has spent the past 35 years building a collection of vintage and antique clocks that is second to none.

He maintains a collection of over 500 clocks, ranging from antique longcase clocks to large external turret clock dials, from Bakelite mantel clocks to charming old French Bistro clocks.

Roger frequents antique markets and auction houses at home and abroad. With the help of a small team of skilled craftsmen, he enjoys restoring and reviving clocks that have seen better days to give them back their original charm and character.

He welcomes visitors by appointment to his 4,500 sq ft showroom and workshop in Wandsworth, South West London.
