An antique French wall clock with a glass dial, very often used instead of a paper dial on French domestic clocks in the late 19th century. The dial has a brass rim and we have it into a square wooden casing painted in a olive green. We have also fitted a new modern quartz battery driven movement, to give perfect timing. The traditional style hands have been sprayed red. A very noticeable and individual looking wall clock.

Roger Lascelles has spent the past 35 years building a collection of vintage and antique clocks that is second to none.

He maintains a collection of over 500 clocks, ranging from antique longcase clocks to large external turret clock dials, from Bakelite mantel clocks to charming old French Bistro clocks.

Roger frequents antique markets and auction houses at home and abroad. With the help of a small team of skilled craftsmen, he enjoys restoring and reviving clocks that have seen better days to give them back their original charm and character.

He welcomes visitors by appointment to his 4,500 sq ft showroom and workshop in Wandsworth, South West London.
