This is a clock made by a clockmaker named Dyson, who had the right to say on the dial 'Maker to the King'. Since the clock was made in the 1930's, this clock probably dates from the time of George V.
The clock is all original and has an 8 day spring driven movement, winding with a key. The Oak case is in particularly good condition as is the rest of the clock.
It is in full working condition. A collectors piece that will have appeal to anyone who appreciates the provenance.

Roger Lascelles has spent the past 35 years building a collection of vintage and antique clocks that is second to none.

He maintains a collection of over 500 clocks, ranging from antique longcase clocks to large external turret clock dials, from Bakelite mantel clocks to charming old French Bistro clocks.

Roger frequents antique markets and auction houses at home and abroad. With the help of a small team of skilled craftsmen, he enjoys restoring and reviving clocks that have seen better days to give them back their original charm and character.

He welcomes visitors by appointment to his 4,500 sq ft showroom and workshop in Wandsworth, South West London.
