This chamber stick is Old Sheffield Plate, which is different to electroplated. Old Sheffield Plate had a thin sheet of silver that was rolled onto copper as opposed to silver particles electrolysed on to nickel or stainless steel.

Chamber sticks were used to light your way to bed, unlike a candlestick, chamber sticks would have a handle for ease when climbing the stairs.
