Antique Swedish Baroque Dry Scraped Mora Clock signed P.J. Berowist, complete with old weights, pendulum and a brass spider key.

It is circa 1700's and has been carefully dry scraped to reveal its original paint finish, in pretty hues of pinky red, green and grey. The shape of this clock is stunning and it has a particularly pretty base, with traces of the original folk painting to the front. The hood has gorgeous glass windows to the sides to enable you to view, the original clock mechanisms. The body has the original key to the door, but is missing the glass from the central window. This doesn't affect its useage in any way.

This stunning clock, has been working consistently in the shop but Mora clocks are generally very temperamental so may need adjustments by a specialist clock maker when in situ in your home. However, this clock does not have a bell so does not chime on the hour.

*Please note, this clock is not sold as being in full working order. It is being sold with its original working mechanism, a Pendulum, Key and weights*

All our Mora clocks need setting up by a professional clock maker.

Decorative Antiques UK is a business which has evolved from my passion for seeking beautiful pieces of furniture and Decorative Antiques from all around the world, especially France and Scandinavia. I have a particular love for the faded grandeur style of old French Chateau pieces as well as Swedish Gustavian and am fascinated by the stories behind each of these wonderful Antiques. I source antiques from all over Europe and specialise in original painted furniture, period mirrors, Decorative European antiques as well as some Mid Century pieces such as Brass and Glass drinks trolleys and tables.

Our Tunbridge Wells home used to act as our showroom, but we have now relocated to a beautiful Georgian shop, set in the village of Hurst Green, Etchingham, East Sussex.

Our Victorian townhouse was featured in the October 2013 edition of 25 Beautiful Homes magazine and in Wealden Times magazine February 2014. We exhibit at various events and Fairs throughout the year and all details can be found on our Facebook page under Decorative Antiques UK and our events page on the website. I do hope you enjoy browsing the unique vintage treasures that I have collected for you on the website and please do sign up to my mailing list to keep up to date with the latest information, promotions and latest arrivals.
