Nicely distressed, with paint splattering, yet still sturdy. This Tic-Tac stool was often used through the 1920’s at Great Yarmouth Racecourse in Norfolk. Tic-Tacs were not well paid, this stool was made in the shed from salvaged timber using a simple construction technique, early recycling in action. Lightweight and easy to carry.

Later used as a Artists makers work stand.

Used as a side table, juxtaposed against mid century furniture it really gives a lift to upholstered lines. It shares a design ethos, simple lines, spare construction, nothing wasted, visible assembly and still working 100 years later.

37cm x 32.5cm x 35.5cm high
