Item Description

Stained glass panel depicting the Cardiff coat of arms. The red dragon stands beside a leek (the floral emblem for Wales) and holds the arms of the last Prince of Glamorgan. Topped with ostrich feathers for the Prince of Wales, the Tudor rose and the mural crown. Flanked by a goat to symbolise the moutains of Glamorgan and a seahorse standing for the Severn Sea and the trading port. Signs of cracking evident. Measurements exclude the temporary frame.
