These gorgeous andirons (or fire dogs) date from around 1875, and were attributed to Thomas Jeckyll by the auction house where they were originally purchased. They are a lovely example of the craftmanship of the Aesthetic Movement, in solid brass, both cast with a sunflower on ball and rod frame and bracket base. Please feel free to get in touch with any further questions.
