We love the history of these pots, used in the South of France in the late 1800’s, to preserve food. They were partially buried in the cold ground and glazed midway to protect the terracotta. This pot is particularly beautiful with its hues of pink and makes a lovely decorative feature in a kitchen or garden. French, 19th Century

Feraland is a landscape design company that creates and builds naturalistic gardens, with sustainable and reclaimed materials. As part of this passion we source and sell garden antiques for inside and outside the home.

Our pieces usually originate from some outdoor endeavour, often functional and agrarian in nature or part of the long relationship between gardens and artists. Our passion is man's relationship to nature and we look for clues to that story in the pieces we find.

Much of our stock is European and a large part of that from France, where they seem to have a particular flair for adding beauty into the simplest objects. We are based in the south of England, at the foot of the South Downs just outside Brighton.

We are a family operation; a husband and wife team running a simple, personal business that reflects our way of life and the art we love.
