Early 19th century gilded wooden cherub. The cherub has some rubbing and wear which is to be expected with a item of this age but it is in good condition with no breaks. On the back of the cherub is a old sale tag from 1950 when it was sold to the curé of Vomecourt in the Vosge, France.
