Unusual German Majolica and Wire dish featuring three hares

'THE HARE AND THE SPOON (ear) THREE AND YET EVERY HARE HAS TWO'
Three hares are arranged so that each one has two ears but only three are in the motif

This motif is sometimes seen on continental Easter Eggs and is possibly a symbol of the Trinity
