A very good pair of quality long refectory hall benches in English Oak, Circa 1910. A matching pair with good sized seat and sloping back, ideal for a large dining table.

Hallmarks of quality craftmanship, with mortice and pegged jointed frame and single arched back leg which also extends to the back giving these a good solid stance. A good deep front stretcher extends under the seat adding to the sturdy construction. A nice little upstand to the back of the seat.

Difficult to find a matching pair in such good condition. Nice wear to the oak which give them a wonderful aged touch.

Seat Height = 47cm / 18.5″
