Pair of Cornish studio pottery table lamps handmade by John Beusmans at the Carn Pottery in Nancledra, Penzance.

This fine pair are embellished with a circular design using an earthy green colour on one side and an abstract blue pattern to the other. The natural colour pallet Carn pottery is well known for that represents the rugged West Cornwall surroundings it is based. They lend themselves as ideal bedside lamps. Stamped with the pottery mark internally towards the base. Fitted with a UK bayonet style bulb holder.

Measurements:

14.5cm in height (27.5cm including holder)

8cm wide x 8cm deep.

Founded by John Beusmans in 1971 Carn Pottery is based at the Old Chapel at Nancledra near Penzance. Carn's instantly recognisable abstract and naturalistic designs and colour ways reflect the rugged environment of its manufacture.
