Fine and elegant large scale 1950s chandeliers from a Yorkshire church.
Painted and gilt brass with hand blown opaline shades.
The original paint can be cleaned / polished or stripped to the original brass and polished. The gilt finish to the shade galleries and central solid brass ball is faded and could be lightly polished and left as is or highly polished.
To be sold rewired to the customers specification.
Dimensions in inches/cms; Approx 58"/148 total height ( this can be altered somewhat when rewired )
Max diameter is approx 39.5"/100cms ( diameter to the centre of the shades is 33"/84cms)
Shades are approx 8.5"/22cms in diameter and 11"/28cms tall including the galleries.

Edward Haes has been dealing in architectural elements and antiques for the past 20 years, initially sourcing most of his stock from disused public buildings and demolition sites.  Some of his architectural pieces can be found on The Hoarde.

He enjoyed the social history of these places and wishes all his later purchases could have the same perfect provenance.

He continues to buy a diverse range of antiques, with a speciality in lighting, mainly from the UK and sells to dealers, commercial and private clients.
