17thC Red Languedoc Marble Surround

HEIRLOOMS by LAWRENCE
A very beautiful 17thC French Red Languedoc marble surround/frame. It is intended to be fitted into a wall hence the sides and back are all rough cut, this then frames whatever it is you want to frame. Would be ideal to also be used as a wall fountain surround in a garden wall or to be used as a surround for a Koi Carp pond as these red colours would complement the colour of the fish.
It has had old 19thC repairs and pinning which makes it strong and solid. The hand carving of this surround gives it a really nice appearance that can't be gained with modern machinery.

Due to its age there are chips, marks, etc but nothing that takes away from it just adds to its originality.

Measures 1.7 metres by 1.25 metres and is approx. 6 inches thick by 6 inches deep.

Dimensions:

  • H: 125cm (49.21in)
  • W: 170cm (66.93in)
  • D: 15cm (5.91in)
