Avast! Large scratch built model of a Knights Templar galleon tall ship made from papier-mache and wood. The Knights Templar were founded in the 12th Century in Jerusalem as a monastic order to protect the pilgrims, but were disbanded in the early 14th Century. Believed to date from the first half of the 20th Century, it has been lovingly restored, without going too far and mounted on a stand for better display. Amazing attention to detail, with full rigging, sails and even lifeboats. Signs of age, but a unique and imposing decorative display piece nonetheless. Aye, aye Cap'n.
