An 18th Century finely carved wooden polychrome putto holding a well carved cornucopia. The figure has been mounted on a base for display purposes, it stands approximately 13 inches (ca. 33 cm) tall (including the base, 7 inches (ca. 18 cm) wide (hand to hand) and 6 inches (ca. 15 cm) deep (foot to foot). As can be seen from the pictures, and as expected, there have been some historic repairs to the putto, but it is still a wonderful piece of antique craftsmanship.

Based in Kent, I have been trading for over 15 years, starting off at the local fairs, but now mainly trading online via Twitter and Instagram, at Detling Antiques Fair and out of Chart Sutton Antiques Centre in Kent.

My main problem is that I like so many areas in the antiques and collectable world, I therefore deal in everything from the traditional items such as Georgian and Victorian silver and small furniture, to decorative items and lighting, along with the odd and weird.

One of the best things about the job is that you just never know what you may come across next.

I am always happy to provide as much information as I possibly can regarding any item, so please if you see anything of interest or you just have a general query or question, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
