This is an absolute belter. An early clock from the 1960s and in really superb condition. Made in West Germany by Siemens.

The heavy steel case is in excellent overall condition with only negligible wear. Originally, the glass and dial were sealed with putty and this has preserved the dial and hands. The white colour dial is in lovely condition, nice and clean, the logo and markings are all crisp. The hands show a little wear. The original glass shows negligible wear.

Overall diameter 47cm, depth 7cm.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.

Dimensions:

  • H: 47cm (18.50in)
  • W: 47cm (18.50in)
  • D: 7cm (2.76in)

Period:

1950s

All my clocks are originals. Typically post-war, they are sourced from around the UK and throughout Europe, both old West and former Eastern Block countries.

All the clocks are fitted with high quality battery quartz mechanisms that are reliable, accurate and fully guaranteed for twelve months.

I am a professionally trained restorer. I have been providing customers with period restored clocks with replaced mechanisms, giving the authentic style with worry-free reliability for over 30 years. Every clock that I sell is restored by me, and I take pride in selling clocks with a high standard of finish.

All clocks are hand-restored using traditional methods. Each clock I acquire differs depending upon the severity of the neglect it has suffered. I personally restore each clock to ensure that it is back to its former beauty, whilst retaining the individual character it has acquired over time.
