This is one of the best clocks I have had for a long time. This is exactly the type I like. A heavy steel cased Smiths factory clock dating from the 1950s.

The robust steel case is aged and worn on the upper surface but has no damage and has a lovely finish. I have retained some signs of its original wear. The dial has overall foxing yet the logo and markings are all crisp. The brass classic Smiths hands show quite considerable wear. The original glass shows wear and some scratches.

Overall diameter 60.5cm, depth 12cm.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.

IMPORTANT. This clock is priced without P&P, to be collected from London SE18 5NR or SE13 6HL. If you are unable to collect, no problem, I will pack it well for courier transit.

All my clocks are originals. Typically post-war, they are sourced from around the UK and throughout Europe, both old West and former Eastern Block countries.

All the clocks are fitted with high quality battery quartz mechanisms that are reliable, accurate and fully guaranteed for twelve months.

I am a professionally trained restorer. I have been providing customers with period restored clocks with replaced mechanisms, giving the authentic style with worry-free reliability for over 30 years. Every clock that I sell is restored by me, and I take pride in selling clocks with a high standard of finish.

All clocks are hand-restored using traditional methods. Each clock I acquire differs depending upon the severity of the neglect it has suffered. I personally restore each clock to ensure that it is back to its former beauty, whilst retaining the individual character it has acquired over time.
