This large beauty is indeed a rare and special piece. Made in West Germany in the 1950s by Carl Theodor Wagner of Wiesbaden. The heavy steel case is steel has the original cream finish with, as you can see, some overall signs or wear. The steel dial still has quite a bright white colour and the logo, numbers and minute track are all sharp. The black painted brass hands show a little wear. The original glass shows minor wear commensurate with its age.

All my clocks are originals. Typically post-war, they are sourced from around the UK and throughout Europe, both old West and former Eastern Block countries.

All the clocks are fitted with high quality battery quartz mechanisms that are reliable, accurate and fully guaranteed for twelve months.

I am a professionally trained restorer. I have been providing customers with period restored clocks with replaced mechanisms, giving the authentic style with worry-free reliability for over 30 years. Every clock that I sell is restored by me, and I take pride in selling clocks with a high standard of finish.

All clocks are hand-restored using traditional methods. Each clock I acquire differs depending upon the severity of the neglect it has suffered. I personally restore each clock to ensure that it is back to its former beauty, whilst retaining the individual character it has acquired over time.
