Obviously not European, but I haven’t got a section for vintage Japanese bulkhead clocks made in the 1970s by Seiko. The steel case is in good order with the paint finish having deteriorated throughout the surface. The case is hinged on the left with a threaded knob to access the interior. The tobacco colour dial is nice and clean, the raised details are crisp and there is little sign of wear. The hands show a little wear. The original glass shows negligible wear.

Overall diameter 22cm, depth 6.5cm.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.

Dimensions:

  • H: 22cm (8.66in)
  • W: 22cm (8.66in)
  • D: 6.5cm (2.56in)

Period:

1970s

All my clocks are originals. Typically post-war, they are sourced from around the UK and throughout Europe, both old West and former Eastern Block countries.

All the clocks are fitted with high quality battery quartz mechanisms that are reliable, accurate and fully guaranteed for twelve months.

I am a professionally trained restorer. I have been providing customers with period restored clocks with replaced mechanisms, giving the authentic style with worry-free reliability for over 30 years. Every clock that I sell is restored by me, and I take pride in selling clocks with a high standard of finish.

All clocks are hand-restored using traditional methods. Each clock I acquire differs depending upon the severity of the neglect it has suffered. I personally restore each clock to ensure that it is back to its former beauty, whilst retaining the individual character it has acquired over time.
