Frank had two daughters with Special Educational Needs and ran an `activities club` in his spare time for his girls and other children, going on nature walks, doing archery, making pottery and other things besides. He was also a keen Morris Dancer and during one of their pottery classes made this bowl for his own pleasure. This was at some point in the 1970`s. He has since passed away. We purchased a small collection of his pottery from one of his daughters and are offering this charming bowl for sale. 23cm in diameter, 10cm high.

Lost Property represents the fine city of Norwich in the heart of East Anglia and has been trading there since 2010. For Lost Property, trading antiques and vintage is the fine line walked between artistry and commerce, feast or famine. It’s the bittersweet tug of wanting to hold onto something forever, but knowing you have to let it go. The Lost Property ‘eye’ focuses on the functional and the decorative with a rebellious slant towards the crude and imperfect.
