Brass shop plaque `STYLES`, probably dating from the second quarter of the 20th century. The plaque is fitted onto a wooden back board by means of two threaded bolts fixing into the two threaded collars on the reverse of the plaque. The wood, bolts and square nut fixings all appear to be the same age as the plaque.
The plaque will free stand on a flat surface or could be fixed onto something else if required. There is some tarnishing and age related wear to the brass which I have not attempted to clean.

Lost Property represents the fine city of Norwich in the heart of East Anglia and has been trading there since 2010. For Lost Property, trading antiques and vintage is the fine line walked between artistry and commerce, feast or famine. It’s the bittersweet tug of wanting to hold onto something forever, but knowing you have to let it go. The Lost Property ‘eye’ focuses on the functional and the decorative with a rebellious slant towards the crude and imperfect.
