Vintage Swedish Carpentry Bench made by `Sjobergs` of Sweden in beech and pitch pine and dating to the 1960`s / 70`s. It is a compact design composed of two vices, workbench, tool tray, four drawers and a cupboard. It also comes with its `original` stool, probably not manufactured by the same company although a complimentary addition contemporary to the bench. The condition is generally very good. There is a saw mark on one of the vice handles and general light wear from use. The bench is `unrestored` but could be prettied if it were to be used as an interior piece; kitchen island or console table. Otherwise it is ready to be used as intended.

Lost Property represents the fine city of Norwich in the heart of East Anglia and has been trading there since 2010. For Lost Property, trading antiques and vintage is the fine line walked between artistry and commerce, feast or famine. It’s the bittersweet tug of wanting to hold onto something forever, but knowing you have to let it go. The Lost Property ‘eye’ focuses on the functional and the decorative with a rebellious slant towards the crude and imperfect.
