Chocolat Poulain Antique Storage Crate

An original wooden shipping storage crate from Chocolat Poulain. The crate is manufactured from wood with carry handles at either end. The crate has the manufacturers name stamped onto the sides in red paint – Chocolat Poulain and retains its original shipping label on one end.

Origin: France

Circa: 1950s

Workshop Report: The crate is structurally sound, it has been cleaned and waxed for protection, there is wear to the wood in places.

As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.

Mayfly Vintage was established after years of my husband and I collecting vintage pieces of furniture and homeware in the UK and across Europe. We started off selling at the monthly Winchester Vintage Market and now exhibit at antiques fairs in the South of England alongside our online store.
